Walk Riverside Spotlight: Downtown

Dick and Donna Wing

Dick and Donna Wing of downtown Riverside. Check out Dick's great shoes!

We were so excited to receive an update from some of our Downtown Walk Riverside participants! (Downtown recently stole the lead from the Wood Streets to become the leading neighborhood in the competition.)

Dick and Donna Wing, who both teach at UCR, have ALREADY reached their goal to walk 100 miles by September, 15th. Donna has actually logged 104 miles since the beginning of the challenge! The couple has now set their sights on walking 200 miles by the completion of the Walk Riverside challenge. Amazingly, Dick recently had knee replacement surgery on both legs — way to go Dick!

Congrats to Dick and Donna for helping their neighborhood take the lead in the challenge and thanks for sharing your story.

Happy Walking,

The Team at fitfreshfunriverside.com
