For the last three years, RCDC has brought a special educational seminar to the Riverside Community focusing on the emotional impact of diabetes. This year’s seminar, which will be held in both English & Spanish, is called Diabetes, Food and the Holidays: Preparing for the Perfect (Emotional) Storm. The seminar will cover both the physical and emotional aspects of managing diabetes during the upcoming holiday season and will feature a panel presentation by a motivational speaker, registered dietitian, and therapist.
This seminar is specifically for those with diabetes and their caregivers and is FREE to community members. A health expo, featuring screenings, will be held prior to each seminar. Registration for this event is required. To register call 951.788.3471. Download the flier in English and Spanish here. Complimentary valet parking will be provided for this event.
