This weekend (April 20) the Positive Results Corporation, in partnership with Women Wonder Writers and Street Positive, is bringing the “Stop the Pain: Teen Summit on Dating Violence, Sex Trafficking and Bullying Prevention” at California Baptist University. The summit is for young men & women ages 12 to 22 and their parents and is completely free. The summit will cover a variety of topics, see below, and will include “an anti-violence youth performance, proceeded by a panel discussion on how these issues impact our youth, families, schools and the community. We then will move to breakout sessions covering the above-mentioned topics to educate, train and encourage prevention.” In addition, award-winning author of the book “A Child Called It” Dave Pelzer will be speaking at the event.
